The special heavy trucks with more than 400 wheels, 7.8 meters wide and nearly 100 meters long are loaded with huge steel castings. Starting from Taizhong, they drive out of Shanxi like a giant dragon and travel a long way to reach Taizhong Tianjin Binhai port base safely.
This giant steel casting is a 350mn multi-directional composite extruder produced by Taizhong for Nanjing Deville, which is currently the largest press in the world. In the middle of June this year, the special heavy truck loaded with the column of Nanjing Deville 350mn multi-directional composite extruder, packed and transported by too heavy, set out for the fourth time to ship the fourth giant steel casting for the project. So far, all four major pieces of Nanjing Deville arrived in Tianjin safely and smoothly.
This is the casting with the heaviest shipping weight and the largest specification produced by Taizhong so far, which refreshes the record of large cargo transportation vehicle license in our province, fills the blank of large cargo transportation in our province, and becomes a model of large cargo transportation in the country.
It's really difficult to transport the castings with concentrated weight, serious over width and maximum size
The four oversized castings delivered by Taizhong for Nanjing Deville are the largest castings cast by Taizhong since its reconstruction plant. In 2012, the localization project base of large castings and forgings built by Taizhong was completed and put into operation, with the ability to produce super large castings and forgings. However, the castings produced this time have broken through the design limit of the smelting system, especially the large outline size, complex structure, wide wall thickness and great manufacturing difficulty of the castings. There are great tests and safety risks to the molten steel smelting, lifting, heat treatment, rough machining and other equipment capabilities of the smelting system and the transportation of castings.
For this reason, Taizhong organized production in an unconventional way, scientifically demonstrated the casting plan, and deeply explored the production potential. All personnel cooperated closely, and the continuous casting of super large castings was successfully realized. The successful production of these castings is not only the ice breaking and upgrading of the core production capacity, but also a key step for the development of large-scale and high-end enterprises, which has no precedent in the domestic industry, and has even reached the leading level of the world casting industry. This is a casting performance that has never been seen since taire reconstruction plant. The transportation plan is determined, and the "dragon" drives out of Shanxi
In order to successfully complete the transportation task, Taizhong set up a project team to tackle key problems, and began the preparation before shipment from February 2018. It not only calculates the weight, size, center of gravity and fulcrum position of large pieces, but also implements the clearance limits of structures such as the carrying capacity of road sections, bridges and culverts, the width of roads, curve radius, longitudinal slope, and the geometric size of road arches.
"Even though sufficient preliminary preparations were made, the transportation plan was rejected when it was first formulated." Hanyuming said that after calculation and field investigation, it was found that the strength and bearing capacity of the bridges passing by were unqualified, and everything needed to be overturned and started over.
To this end, the Provincial Department of transportation, the provincial Senior Management Bureau, the traffic control group, the bridge inspection institute and other departments actively helped Taichong think of ways, repeatedly communicated and negotiated, comprehensively considered the technical conditions of the bridge, the existing prestress and other factors to carry out the detailed design, and carried out the demonstration and verification evaluation from the road and bridge traffic conditions, traffic safety and other aspects. After several times of improvement, the loading method, Finally, the loading mode of 2-column 15 axis flat trailer + clamp beam frame + 2-column 18 axis flat trailer is determined. Hanyuming said that this loading method can effectively divide the weight and minimize the impact load on the bridge.
The project team also conducted a feasibility analysis on the transportation route, checked all bridges along the line, temporarily strengthened the bridges with potential safety hazards and passed through the retrograde Road, widened and reconstructed the toll station, cleared the obstacles along the line, and solved the problems of bridge bearing capacity and traffic. Finally, the transportation plan was unanimously approved by the provincial leaders and all parties.
In the absence of precedent, the Provincial Department of communications and the provincial Senior Management Bureau broke the original approval procedures and ideas in accordance with national laws, regulations and relevant policies, and established a new approval mechanism for this large cargo transportation. In October, 2018, the bridge reinforcement project and toll station reconstruction project were completed. In mid November 2018, another special meeting was held to arrange and deploy the details of the plan and specific implementation steps. So far, the transportation plan and approval of the first large lower beam have been finalized.
On December 6, 2018, the vehicle loaded with the world's largest press parts produced too heavily finally embarked on the journey. It was a total of 14 kilometers from Taizhong north gate to Xiangyang expressway toll station, but it took five hours to walk. Due to the serious over length, over width, over height and over weight of vehicles, the Taiyuan traffic police detachment gave strong support, demolished the isolation piers, guardrail signs and other road facilities that hindered the passage of vehicles in advance, implemented temporary traffic control measures at the intersections and sections of the lines through which the vehicles passed, strengthened vehicle dredging, ensured the smoothness of the roads through which the vehicles passed, and finally drove smoothly into the expressway.
On December 10, 2018, the first "dragon" - Nanjing Deville 350mn press lower beam transport vehicle arrived at Taizhong Tianjin Binhai port base safely. The rest three pieces were transported in mid March, mid May and mid June 2019 respectively. All the four pieces of Nanjing Deville were transported to Tianjin safely. At present, it is being processed and assembled by Tianjin Binhai forging equipment branch, and will eventually arrive in Nanjing by sea.
